Well, I’ve been playing the guitar since 1999 and get a lot of enjoyment out of it. For that reason I decided to teach in my spare time and found that I get just as much enjoyment out of that as well. Bonus! If you want to know more, please get in touch.
After teaching for several years, I thought it was about time I started to make some sense out of the knowledge I’ve gained, put it into a sensible format and publish it here on the mighty, all-knowing internet.
Is this site for you? Well, if you’re a guitarist struggling to get to grips with some of the basics or more advanced concepts in musical theory, with an emphasis on the guitar, then maybe this site is for you.
What are my motives? Well, my main objective out of this isn’t to get rich (honest), and I don’t expect to. I simply hope to cover my running costs for hosting my websites and pass on the knowledge I’ve accumulated over a lifetime of singing and playing music.
A lifetime, you ask? I know I said I’ve been playing the guitar since 1999, but prior to that I sang in a good quality traditional old-English Church choir at the Priory Church of St Peter, in Dunstable. So I wasn’t fibbing!
