The Guitar Master

I’ve heard that this is a pretty poor movie. but I might watch it anyway, as the guitar is amazing. Steve Vai is brilliant. He was trained by the best – Joe Satriani, who also taught Kirk Hammet of Metalica.

Here is a snippet of the movie with some incredible guitar. The best is right at the end.

The technique used in the dual at the end is mostly sweep picking. Take a look at the instructional videos for a brief introduction to get you started.
